The following informationn is an alphabetical listing of the major insurance companies that we represent along with a description of claims reporting procedures. If you have an emergency and can not contact the insurance company, see the emergency procedures section at the end of this page.
AIG- Claims can be called in to 1-888-244-6163.Capitol Indemnity Company - Claims can be reported by calling Brown's Insurance at 703-368-0333 (1-800-527-6967). For emergency claims after normal business hours, you can call 1-800-537-5266 and leave a message.
Central Insurance Company - Claims can be called in to Brown's Insurance at 703-368-0333 (800-527-6967), or called in to Central directly at 800-877-2233. Emergency claims after hours can be called in to 800-736-7000. We expect to add online claims reporting with Central shorly.
Companion Property and Casualty - Claims can be reported by calling Brown's Insurance at 703-368-0333 (1-800-527-6967), or by calling Companion direct at 800-845-2724. These numbers will not be answered outside of normal business hours.
Commonwealth Contractors Group - also known as Divers & Associates- Claims can be called in to Landin Companies at 804-359-9600.
EMC Insurance Companies - Employers Mutual Casualty Company - Claims can be reported by calling Brown's Insurance at 703-368-0333 (1-800-527-6967). Claims can also be reported directly to EMC at 1-800-333-3622.
Foremost Insurance Group - Claims can be called in to 1-800-527-3907.
GMAC Insurance Group (formerly known as Integon Insurance) - Claims can be called in to 1-800-468-3466.
Harleysville Insurance Group - Claims can be reported by calling Brown's Insurance at 703-368-0333 (1-800-527-6967). Claims can also be reported directly to Harleysville at 1-800-892-8877.
Loudoun Mutual Insurance - Claims can be reported by calling Brown's Insurance at 703-368-0333 (1-800-527-6967). For emergency claims after normal business hours, you can call 1-800-752-3458, select option 3 and leave a detailed message.
Maryland Casualty Group - also known as Zurich Insurance Group- Claims can be called in to 1-800-239-6851.
National Grange Mutual - also known as Main Street America Group Claims can be reported by calling Brown's Insurance at 703-368-0333 (1-800-527-6967). For emergency claims after normal business hours, you can call 1-888-646-2498. Glass claims should be reported to 1-800-887-5944.
Progressive Insurance - Claims can be called in to 1-800-274-4499.
Providence Washington Insurance - Claims can be reported by calling Brown's Insurance at 703-368-0333 (1-800-527-6967). For emergency claims after normal business hours, you can call 1-800-556-3825.
Rockwood Insurance - Claims can be called in at 1-800-837-9062. Rockwood also lets you complete the Employer’s Accident Report directly on their website at www.rockwoodcasualty.com.
Sagamore Insurance Group - Claims can be called in to 1-800-224-1221.
Southern Donegal Insurance - Claims can be reported by calling Brown's Insurance at 703-368-0333 (1-800-527-6967). Claims can also be reported directly to Southern at 1-800-468-1127.
State Auto - Claims can be reported by calling Brown's Insurance at 703-368-0333 (1-800-527-6967). Claims can also be reported directly to State Auto at 1-800-766-1853.
Technology Insurance / Amtrust - Claims can be called in to 1-877-743-2792.
Travelers Insurance - Claims can be reported by calling Brown's Insurance at 703-368-0333 (1-800-527-6967). Claims can also be reported directly to Travelers at 1-800-CLAIM33 or 1-800-252-4633.
Victoria Insurance Group - Claims can be called in to 1-800-926-3168.
Virginia Mutual Insurance - Claims can be reported by calling Brown's Insurance at 703-368-0333 (1-800-527-6967). Claims can also be reported directly to Virginia Mutual at 1-800-394-8642. For emergency claims after normal business hours, you can call 804-418-5471 and leave a page. This should be used for emergencies only.
Windsor Insurance Group - Claims can be called in to 1-888-951-5599.
Zurich Insurance Group - also known as Maryland Casualty Group- Claims can be called in to 1-800-239-6851.
Emergency Claims after hours - If you have an emergency and you can not get hold of anyone at the numbers above, you can call Mike Brown at the numbers listed below. However, we ask that you use some discretion before doing so. Consider whether or not the situation is really an emergency. If you have a fender bender to report, it can probably wait until the office is open. After all, even if we hand you a claim check immediately, the body shop won't start work until they are open. If your house has burned down and you have no place to stay, that is an emergency. Of course, we will only be of help if we insure the house!
